From the Principal

At Deloraine Primary School our commitment is to develop the potential of each and every child. Student achievement, engagement and wellbeing are central to our teaching and learning. Our holistic approach is to consider the needs of every child to allow them to experience personal success. We have high expectations and provide students with a range of opportunities and extra-curricular activities to develop their skills and talents based on our belief that all students will achieve.

We continually review our approaches and implement evidence based high impact quality teaching and learning practices and whole school approaches to enable the greatest student improvement.

Our DoE values are promoted as our pathway to life-long learning.

  • Aspiration – a culture of high expectations and high achievement
  • Respect – respecting ourselves, others, our past and our environment
  • Courage – accepting challenges and embracing opportunities
  • Growth – improving by always learning and finding better ways of doing things

Our expectations of safety, caring, learning and responsibility are embedded in our culture and celebrated, modelled and reinforced throughout our school.
