We were lucky enough to have amazing weather for our Athletics events held these past two weeks. Our Sport House Captains have shared with us their thoughts from the day.

“At the Grade 3-6 Athletics Carnival on Friday 6 March parents, family and friends came to our oval to encourage and cheer on students participating in events. The noise was amazing with everyone cheering for their Sport Houses and it felt like the hottest day of the year! We had lots of events such as relays, sprints, longer distance runs, long jump and Vortex. Meander took out the shield this year but every team did their very best! Overall it was a great day and lots of fun”.

“On Tuesday the 10 March we had the Kinder Athletics Gala Day. There was a lot of parents and family members who came to watch the Kinder kids run their hearts out! The first event was a sprint and there were some very fast runners. They also had a hurdle race, partner races, egg and spoon race and a race with your teddy. Also at the end there was an adult and child egg and spoon race and that was really fun to watch. The Aussie Sports leaders helped out on the day and they really enjoyed running the events and helping the Kinder children”.
