We’ve had a busy few weeks during the end of Term 3 and into Term 4 with lots of exciting events happening in and out of the classroom.

Our annual library Book Fair was held in the first weeks of Term 4. We had an amazing response from the school community supporting this fundraiser and as a result we received just over a $1000  worth of books for our school library. Thank you for your support!

Last week our Grade 3-6 students participated in the annual Swimming Carnival held in our own swimming pool. It was fantastic to see so many of our students showing our values of courage, growth and aspiration throughout the day. Thank you to the parents and carers who came along to support their children and also to the many staff and volunteers who helped make the day a great success. Congratulations to the Meander Sports house who took out the shield at the end of the day. We will be sending a group of high achieving swimmers to represent our school at the Northern Midlands Swimming Carnival in early December.

We have also received the items that the SRC chose as part of the Woolworths Earn and Learn program for 2019. Their focus was our school garden and they chose some amazing items such as tools, books, worm farm and lots more! We can’t wait to see everything in action down in the garden.

The end of Term 3 was a busy one for sporting and academic events. Our school was well represented in a number of events including Country Gold soccer, football and netball, Basketball Tournements and NAPLAN presentations. Congratulations to each and every student who participated in these, well done!
