On Wednesday the 11th of November we held our Annual Swimming Carnival in our school pool. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we had to host our swimming carnival a little different this year.
This year we had the Grade 6’s down at the pool first while the Grade 5’s played outside games. After the Grade 6’s swam, we swapped over.  We continued this same routine for the Grade 3’s and Grade 4’s. The events we all competed in were backstroke, freestyle, and breaststroke.
At 11.00 we observed a minute’s silence to remember our fallen soldiers on Remembrance Day.
We are very excited to announce that the points for the day were close with Quamby on 345 points, Meander receiving 394 points which of course makes our Swimming Champions for 2020 Rubicon on 419 points.
Great job and thank you to everyone who participated.Thank you also to all the teachers and a special thank you to Mr. Ellis because we couldn’t have done it without him.
